This second edition will present these three pillars with its own theme:

Pillar: Get Wired

Theme: New Horizons – exploring the new opportunities and horizons for artists and the electronic music industry.

Pillar: Get Wired Black

Theme: We Are Family – discussions regarding regional collaborations and partnerships as the key to robust health in the underground electronic music scene.

Pillar: Connect France

(In partnership with The French Embassy of Singapore and Le Bureau Export)

Theme: The French Touch – A spotlight on the French Electronic Music Scene through its music, collectives, creatives and industry players.

Three keynote interviews to look out for are featuring world renowned DJ duo Showtek from Holland who speak about their two decades of staying ahead of the game being a multi genre artist, Caroline Champanaurd, Director of International Development, SACEM who will highlight how they operate as a pioneering music and publishing rights collection body and also Nico Perez , the co-founder of Mixcloud, who will be speaking exclusively about the latest most exciting streaming service for creators, Mixcloud Live.

Another panel definitely worth l ooking out for i s one entitled The Art of Discovering Next Generation Talent which features esteemed music curators for some of the biggest music festivals around, Mysteryland (Holland), Awakenings (Holland) and VH1 Supersonic India.

Elsewhere i ndustry experts from Clockenflap Music & Arts Festival (Hong Kong), Days Like This Festival (Sydney) and Kolour In The Park (Thailand) discuss the economic sustainability of the events scene opening again post pandemic.

Some of France’s top collectives and organisations i ncluding Roche Musique and Rinse France will take to another panel to talk about the amazing electronic scene from France and how it is marketed and experienced throughout the world.

Participants i n the virtual conference will also be given access to exclusive virtual 1-on-1 live networking chat areas throughout the 2 days giving opportunities to create connections for work and increasing their professional or social circles.

“We have worked hard over the last few weeks to put together an impressive list of international speakers and panel content for our audience. With the industry still relatively dormant, it is imperative for us to bring together a world wide community to keep conversations surrounding the music scene of Asia going. This i s why Get Wired was born,” John Beh, founder of Wired Music Week.

The partnership with France’s Le Bureau Export as well as the French Embassy of Singapore is an exciting new development for Wired Music Week. The Connect France pillar was created with the objective of shining a spotlight on the French electronic scene as well creating opportunities for collaborations (corporate and creative).

“As huge fans of French electronic music and scene, we are absolutely delighted to be working with the core team from Le Bureau Export and The French Embassy of Singapore to curate exciting new content, ”Adam Mathews, Curator & Partner of Wired Music Week, “Never i n our wildest dreams would we have thought that we would be connecting with the great and the good of the electronic music cognoscenti of France let alone having them speak at our event!”.

Get Wired #002 is open to all fans and industry faces from across the world alike. The event is shaping up to be one talked about for time to come and for anyone with a keen interest in the electronic music scene would be strongly advised to sign up now on www.wmw.my
