GIG (Green Is Good) Talks is a series of short, educational talks about the survival of our Planet.
Now on its 5th run, GIG Talks stands as a hub of inspiring and invocative ideas for the youth. For this run we speak about Good Food, Urban Water, our Marine Ecosystem and Inclusive Mobility.
Speakers include Dennis Catienza on Marine Ecosystem, Charlene Tan on Good Food, Bong Socco on Tubig TooSmall, and Danielle Guillen on Inclusive Mobility.
Dakila shows it support to GIG Talks since this is very much in line with Dakila and Oxfam’s advocacies on food justice dubbed as the Brown Rice Campaign, and climate justice dubbed as Tiktok Pilipinas, which were launched in 2012 and 2009 respectively.
As advocates of sustainable living, we thought that you might be interested in the information and stories you can get out of these small yet educational talks about the environment.
As such, this is to invite you to the upcoming Green is Good (GIG) Talks organized by the UP Mountaineers happening on September 5, 2014, 5:30 pm at the College of Architecture in UP Diliman.
