The human hands is the most powerful tool given freely to us. For most of us, all our activities of daily living involves heavily the use of our hands — from creating wonderful pieces of art, to communicating by means of hand gestures and sign languages. But most of all, our hands gives us the ability to care: when we touch someone to show empathy; when we hold hands to show love and compassion; and when we extend our hands to someone in need.
And as we start the season of giving, Bastedor art project will hold a show entitled “Hands that Care”, an online art exhibit for a cause where in a portion of the earnings will go to various street children across Metro Manila.
