DAKILA, in partnership with Reality Entertainment, the Embassy of Canada, and the Commision on Human Rights, shall launch the Active Vista Human Rights Festival 2018 with the special advanced screening of ‘A Private War,’ a film directed by Matthew Heineman based on the life of journalist and human rights defender Marie Colvin. The event shall officially open the two-week long festival that will run from November 26 to December 10 in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). The festival shall feature various activities such as film screenings, youth summit, film workshops, a human rights congress, and artist gatherings towards the promotion of human rights and human dignity.
