Synopsis
“Illustrated By”: Filipino Invasion of U.S. Comics is a feature documentary tracing the phenomenon of Filipino comic artists breaking into the U.S. mainstream, to be read by fans from all over the world.
The film aims to pay tribute to many of these ignored, unacknowledged talents, and showcase their gorgeous artwork.
It will premiere this June, 2012 as part of the Film Development Council of the Philippines’ (FDCP) Sineng Pambansa Competition.
