Ronyel Compra’s second solo exhibition at MONO8. “Lasts Longer Than” features recent works drawn from Compra’s continuing exploration of indigenous materials in documenting narratives and observations in his hometown of Bogo, a town located in Cebu’s northeastern coast. Employing mark-making techniques, he records images that define and challenge notions of territory and identity.
