Due to their richness in colors, Zimmermann’s pieces are extremely diverse. His glossy pour-like shapes of rich colors explore the visual effects of surface and material. The indefinite forms of his works bring out endless interpretation, depth, and density of his materials, creating a stunning illusion of colors and light moving. For source materials, Zimmermann repurposes book covers and old paintings, and uses Photoshop filters to manipulate found images from the internet into unidentifiable abstractions.

Peter Zimmermann’s solo exhibition with Modeka Art is a celebration of his artistic prowess with epoxy – showing artworks that are rich with color thus making his work extremely diverse. His shapeless forms prompt endless interpretation, depth, and density of his materials creating profound effects of light and color moving.
