We are inviting you to be part of our summer event dubbed “LIKHA”, a one-day “ART, MUSIC & FOOD FAIR on May 25, 2019, Saturday, from 10:00AM to 8:00PM, at the LRI Design Plaza. This is jointly organized by LRI DESIGN PLAZA and GRUPO REPOSO – the two main entities which are continuously working on bringing closely together the art community, which includes artists (painters, carvers, weavers, craftsmen, performers, designers), art enthusiasts and art patrons.

“LIKHA” aims at showcasing the various areas of artistry and the different media used for expressing art.

The lineup of activities include the following:

AN ON-THE-SPOT PAINTING on canvases by the Grupo Reposo artists and other participating painters;

A THEMATIC ART EXHIBITION by a group of water-colorists;

A BAZAAR of regional specialty foods/delicacies, handicrafts and indigenous products;

A TALK on CULTURAL HERITAGE;

A LECTURE on “BAYBAYIN” – ethnic Filipino letters;

A MUSICAL CONCERT by FILIPINO SINGERS;

POP-UP STORES of coffee, liquor and/or organic beverages.

The Concert, as well as the Talk and the Lecture that will be held at the LRI Art Pavilion, is open to the public for free enjoyment – FREE of CHARGE!

Coldillera (Weaver: Mayat-an)

3:00PM – 4:00PM: A LECTURE on “BAYBAYIN” (an ancient script used by Tagalog people)

CONCERT (Acoustic and Jazz Night at LRI Design Plaza):

5:30PM – 6:15PM: 4PLAY Acoustic Band
A Classic and Alternative rock band rendering different genres of acoustic music from ‘80s to present, Classics and OPM

6:30PM – 7:30: Brass Rosette Band
A Jazz Trio rendering a unique act (a versatile mix of vocals, saxophone and trombone) of stylistic genres of contemporary pop to classic standards and favorites all in a theme of Jazz.
