Francisco (Little Theater Lobby), Cultural Center of the Philippines envelope Invited by Aze Ong Aze Ong’s solo exhibition entitled “Liwanag” is an odyssey that will take you through her life stages. The artist repurposes her past crochet art pieces and transforms them like a butterfly’s metamorphosis. The audience is encouraged to interact with the hanging sculptures and to touch, feel and play as they go from cocoon to cocoon. Drawing from her past experiences and her intuitive process, she ventures into the intimacy of her thoughts which manifests in her works. “Liwanag” opens on December 10, 2015, 6:00pm at the Bulwagang Carlos V. Francisco (Little Theater Lobby), Cultural Center of the Philippines Main Theater Building, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City with a collaborative interactive performance by the Sipat Lawin Ensemble.
