Manila Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1926, the Manila Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is one of the finest orchestras in the Philippines and in Asia. Founded by Alexander Aglipay, the orchestra has played a major role in Philippine history, including acting as a symbol of resistance during the Second World War. MSO continues to nurture young talents and collaborates with like-minded institutions to advance the agenda of music, both as a source of entertainment and inspiration.
