Non-traditional School Sisidlan Institute Holds Peryang Pinoy on April 1

Experience tales and games at Peryang Pinoy, Sisidlan Institute’s closing of the school year annual event and fundraising activity on April 1, at the Bantayog ng mga Bayani, Quezon City from 9am to 5pm.  Sisidlan Institute has lined up different Filipino-themed games and fiesta activities that the whole family can enjoy. The event is open to the public.

Palo Sebo is one of the games at the Peryang Pinoy

Imagine being the persevering Pagong trying to outwit the cunning Matsing in a classic perya shooting game, go through a maze-like adventure as characters from Biag ni Lam-ang, gather round to hear stories from Mga Kuwento ni Lola Basyang in different Philippine languages, treat yourself and your child to Maria Makiling’s hair braiding and face painting booth. All these and more as Peryang Pinoy brings together magical tales (Mga Kuwentong Bayan) with the well-loved games and festivities of a perya.

The traditional game of Palo Sebo is one of the favorites games that will be featured at the Peryang Pinoy

Peryang Pinoy is also a showcase of our local artisanal products, organic produce and other unique items. A program celebrating our culture through music and dance performances will also be a highlight of the day.
