Cosplay Competition Mechanics

PRIZES

✔️Champion: Php3,000 in cash + Certificate
✔️1st Runner-up: 2,000 in cash + Certificate
✔️2nd runner-up: 1,000 in cash + Certificate

REGISTRATION

1. Pre-registered participants are required to confirm at the event date and venue from 11:00AM – 1:00PM. Pre-registered cosplayers can still confirm even when the competition is starting as long as the last cosplayer had not been called.
2. Criteria for judging are as follows:
– Characterization – 30 POINTS
– Performance – 30 POINTS
– Costume – 30 POINTS
– Overall appeal – 10 POINTS

GENERAL RULES

1. There is no disqualification whether you won or not in previous competitions.
2. All cosplayers are required to submit 2 printed copies of their characters reference photo in detail and 1 BGM.
3. Each will be given a total of two (2) minutes stage performance.( Contestant that exceeds the time will have a 5 point deduction on total score)
4. No member of the staff or organizing committee will be allowed to participate in the cosplay event competition.
5. Strict adherence to the time limit per contest will be implemented.
6. If contestant is not present when his/her name is called or their group is called it will be an automatic disqualification.
7. Call time will be at least 1 hour before the schedule contest starts.
8. No dangerous stunts or props will be allowed.
9. We will not allow any lewd or PG performance during the event.

Karaoke Competition Mechanics

1. Pre-registered participants are required to confirm at the event date and venue from 11am to 12:30pm. Also there will also be an onsite registration from 11am to 12:30pm.
2. Contestant must perform one (1) FULL SONG from any anime series/anime OVA or movie.
3. The song must be in Japanese unless the original lyrics is in English or contains English in the lyrics.
4. Contestant must bring their own copy of their mp3 file. MP3 song in USB and should be in KARAOKE (NO VOICE). To save time they can also upload the song here.
5. The time limit for each contestant is maximum of five (5) minutes total.
6. Contestants should be in strict compliance with their call time. Late performers would not be allowed to perform if it is going to affect the schedule flow of the event.
7. The organizers hold the right to disqualify any competitor for any poor behavior displayed by or that go against any of the rules stated.
8. The organizers holds the right to go against any judge’s score sheets/decisions if any wrong doing is found or suspected. (Falsification of scores, sabotage.)
9. There will be three (3) judges for the competition.

Criteria for judging will be as follows:
Voice Quality — 40 POINTS
Lyrics — 25 POINTS
Stage Presence — 25 POINTS
Audience Impact — 10 POINTS

10. The decision of the JUDGES IS FINAL and UN-APPEALABLE.
