Panta Rhei (All in Flux) is a dance theater production that fuses ancient Greek literature with contemporary movement forms, that challenges audiences to view performances from fresh perspectives, and nurture appreciation for Greek philosophy and drama.
Haraya Collective is a platform that gathers freelance artists, so that they may share their experience in theater-making. We aim to reach out to a wider audience and provide experiences that promote dialogue, foster critical thinking, and heighten engagement through storytelling.

“In the city of Eleusis near Athens, secret rites were held every year in honor of Demeter and Persephone. Those who take part understand the rebirth of Persephone and the meaning of the flow of Life.”

ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
The seed of the production takes root from sifting through research on Greek literature, leading to the discovery of the ancient Greek harvest rituals and understanding their possible impact on present-day society. Using the Eleusinian Mysteries as a performance framework, the production combines ancient text on philosophy and mythology to shed light in an age of multiple truths.
As a devised performance, performers draw from a myriad of references, and then use their various performance fortes to contribute to the creative process. This differs from other modes of creation wherein a singular literary piece serves as a take-off point.
Panta Rhei (All In Flux) is a movement-based, non-linear piece that relies more on thematic threads rather than clear-cut narrative. There are no enduring characters nor long exchanges of dialogue. The production challenges audiences to view performances from fresh perspectives, and nurture appreciation for Greek philosophy and drama.
Panta Rhei (All in Flux) is a dance theater production co-presented by the Areté, the new creative hub at the Ateneo de Manila University. It is presented by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, produced by the Haraya Collective.
