PaperViews dwells on the effectivity of translated ideas, concerns, thoughts and contents on paper. Complemented by the characteristics of paper as a lightweight material, versatile, and cheap, paper can be an appropriate springboard for many interesting ideas in art. Yet, it can also be an unassuming playground for the end product of many creative processes and artistic endeavors. PaperViews seeks to integrate the sum of materiality and creativity vis-à-vis the artist’s ongoing intellectual and emotional construct. It also aims to cultivate a breeding ground for artists to learn to do research, explorations, and investigations, to develop innovative possibilities and transmissions in art.
