Pára is an online production that depicts the sentiments of the Filipino people towards the recent 2022 elections, inspired by data gathered through an online survey conducted by Teatro 77.
Its script was inspired by interviews with Filipinos of different political camps and economic backgrounds. Stripped of color—political and literal— Pára shows the frustration and worry of Filipinos through conversations between refugees in a jeepney as they journey towards their destination—towards the promise of a better future.
