Roldan Lozano took up Lighting Design during the 2003 Summer Arts Workshop at the Cultural Center of the Philippines under Jose Christe Nombres and became one of the most sought-after lighting designer and technical director.
Some of his lighting design works includes the Swan Lake, Don Quixote, La Bayadere, Merry Widow and Nutcracker of the Philippine Ballet Theater at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Roldan served as lighting designer of Miss Universe “Confidently Beautiful” fashion show at Davao City, Philippines.
Roldan is also the lighting designer of BOGT Philippines’ “13th of September” which was the official entry of the Philippines to the Festival International de Théâtre De Mont-Laurier in Quebec, Canada last 2019, and THEATERWELTEN festival in Esslingen, Germany from 13 to 16 October 2022.
