The 3 O’clock Prayer in Song – a New Divine Mercy Music Video From Little Mustard Seed

On the Feast day of the Exaltation of the Cross, Little Mustard Seed launches an original music video of the 3 O’CLOCK PRAYER, in honor of Divine Mercy.

The 3 O’CLOCK PRAYER is from the Diary of St. Faustina Kowalska and is a beloved prayer among many Catholics. In the Philippines, it has become a wonderful daily habit, thanks to the seeds sowed by Bro. Don de Castro and the Say A Little Prayer Movement which brought the message of Divine Mercy to Filipino homes and hearts decades ago. The composer, K Sheerin Go, recalls: “As a child in the 80’s, it was as if the whole world stood still—we would drop everything we were doing to pray along as the TV showed the image of Jesus at the strike of three in the afternoon—the hour of great mercy. St. Faustina said that the Lord desired that we enter into His sorrowful Passion at that hour and unite ourselves to Him, seeking His mercy for all sinners. We need to continue this habit—we deeply need God’s mercy now more than ever.”

The song begins with the endearing voice of Kayla Coloma, who is later joined by her mother, Dawn Coloma, and K Sheerin Go in a harmonic trio. The contemporary Christian music vibe arranged by Gino Torres is vibrant and appeals to the heart of both young and old. “Our dream is for children and families to sing the 3 O’CLOCK PRAYER together, to encourage people to trust in God and be united with Him in prayer.”

The 3 O’CLOCK PRAYER is part of GLORY BE, a 10-track album of children’s prayer songs by Little Mustard Seed that includes Angel of God, Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, 3 O’ Clock Prayer and their accompaniments.
