Yet, many musicians themselves are struggling to survive financially, physically and psychologically. The AWIT FUND is being organized by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) to help provide assistance to displaced artists and industry workers where it is needed.
PARI has been at the forefront of the advocacy for local music and musicians since 1972.
