In this exhibition, Ramon Diaz focuses on how his subjects are transferred onto canvas. He remains inspired by his environment and he creates works that have a personal connection to him; subjects that pique his interest. In Diaz’s studio you will find charts of koi fish, types of horses, rough sketches of sumo warriors, sculptural studies of sailboats, and even of cars from different generations – If you ask him about them, he will regale you with hours of stories about each subject, their beauty and rich history, with eyes wide open, stories as vivid as his paintings – his passion evidenced in the way his stories can intrigue one’s mind and get taken away by his fantasy.

“Diaz never forgets to create works with personal resonance – recalling a memory, his visions of interest – to paint moments of peace, solace, and fortitude and thankfulness on his life filled with Luck and Love.”
