Terminal Garden, House Natural Fiber, a new media lab in Jogja running since 1999 and Marko Kosnik will be presenting their work alongside barbeque, booze, music, intimate conversations from & great company.
WHAT IS THE TALK ABOUT?
The talks deal with the unstable media (internet, communication tools, interactive design, sonic art, networked performance, hackerspaces, DIY culture from Indonesia to Slovenia.
HONF specializes on a digital fabrication lab called http://honfablab.org/, as well as other projects like interactive art platforms that produced for democratizing food and energy, etc.
Marko Kosnik is one of the pioneers of early interactive communication projects in East Europe as well as a mainstay curator and organizer in art network projects in Europe.
There’ll be some BBQ and some drinks, and of course ambient music and open jam.
NOTE: *Bringing drinks, booze, and food to grill is highly encouraged.
