Aly Torres is a senior year student taking up Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts, Major in Performance, in De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and is also a scholar of Original Pilipino Performing Arts Foundation since 2018.
She started acting in junior high school at St. Mary’s College Quezon City and has been part of theater productions like Seussical the Musical Jr. as Ensemble (2015), and Alice in Wonderland Musical as Lory and Ensemble (2016). She continued to pursue her passion in the arts when she reached senior high school and took up Performing Arts.
Her theater credits in Benilde include both for acting and production work: Nonon Padilla’s Larawan ng Pilipino Bilang Artist(a) as Marketing Assistant (2018) and Ang Dakilang Teatro ng Daigdig as Tinig (2019), Layeta Bucoy’s Br. Benilde the Musical as Costume Assistant (2019) and El Mar De Sangre as Ensemble & Assistant Stage Manager (2019), and (A/AB)/N as Marketing Assistant (2019).
In 2020 along with her batchmates, she founded Maiba 18 Productions and was able to stage productions both offline and online wherein she acted as well: Yugto (2020, as Production Manager for Creatives & Assistant Manager), Wreckage as Marjhurie Morales (2022), Layeta Bucoy’s Doc Anna… Let’s Kill This Lab as Mananayaw 3 (2022), and her most recent work, Carlo Vergara’s Indayugang Banal: Isang Superpowered Komedya as Tala (2022).
Aside from acting on stage, she also wishes to venture film acting in the future.
