For this year’s Design Week Philippines, we maintain the focus on Hyper-collaboration for a better normal. But the question still holds: How do we cultivate this culture in the age of physical distancing, limited movement, and closed borders?
Design Talks takes a page from the book of present women leaders. Steered by an all-women line up, these talks will shine a light on the importance of soft power, empathy, and decisiveness that is so often observed through the female leaders of today.
In building a better normal for all, Design Talks revisits the core of what makes good design good, a human-centered approach led by empathy and purpose, through the lens of women design leaders. This year, we are not just opening a space for creatives to collaborate but also an avenue where designers and non-designers can begin a community to talk about emerging and necessary topics in order to visualize and imagine what the better normal is for all.
