SILVERLENS is pleased to present Apothecary: Prelude, an exhibition by Cebu-based artist, Yvonne Quisumbing. For her second solo show with the gallery, the artist presents a new set from her APOTHECARY series: ten paintings on three-dimensional fibreglass. These pieces, rooted in Philippine heritage and symbolism, demonstrate Quisumbing’s range as an artist, references as a fashion designer, and reflections as a woman.
Quisumbing’s exhibition will be on view online and onsite alongside Ziggurat by Norberto Roldan, as well as Masks and Spirits by Pacita Abad from 17 October 2020 until 21 November 2020. Access them online through the exhibition catalogues to be released on 17 October 2020 at 10:00 AM, Manila time (GMT +8).
