Known for her whimsical clay sculpture pieces, self-taught Pat Frades’ (b.1993) immersion in the contemporary art scene started with her working closely with young emerging artists as a gallery assistant, occasionally donning a curator’s hat. Helping develop these artists and their creative practice inspired her to pursue her career as a full time artist.
