“Para Kay B” is a stage adaptation by Eljay Deldoc Castro of the Ricky Lee novel of the same title and directed by Arch. Carlos A. Buendia, Jr.
The play explores the romantically and painfully elusive concept of love extending beyond the facets of the human mind’s understanding of it. Here, love is shown transcending the passage of time, gender and sexuality, blood relations, and even worlds. With the aim of tugging at one’s heartstrings, the play presents five different stories centering on this elusiveness of love, and how each character struggles against it, with it and to accept it.
