“SILIP” is the first single of Square One under WARNER MUSIC PHILIPPINES.
Square One had just recently released their latest single “SILIP” where the first ever screening of its official music video will be during Square One’s Press Launching on the 26th of October, to be held at the Punta Mandala Bar, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City. The video includes the legendary and music icon Mr. Ramon (RJ) Jacinto who agreed for the first time to appear and do a cameo on a music video other than his. The song was Recorded and produced at Sonic State. Mixed and mastered by Mr. Jonathan Ong.
Square One is a group of young and very talented kids, whose passion and love for rock music brought them together in 2013 to form a band destined to add excitement in the Philippine local music scene.
Kyle Jimenez (Vocals), Von Domingo (Bass), JP Par (Lead Guitar), and Michael Herradura (Drums), were all born to musical families and has an unconventional choice for such a young age. Instead of the standard nursery rhymes and other kiddie songs, they all grew up being exposed to Metallica, Guns and Roses, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Dream Theater, Wolfgang, Kamikazee, Parokyani Edgar, and Siakol just to name a few, they all found a passion for rock music; with skills up to par, or even better, than much older musicians. By fate they each formed the four sides of what came to be as Square One.
Their trademark long hair, backed up by an awe-inspiring show, head banging, and electrifying performance, made their mark in the local band scene. Thus, making them a certified youngest rock stars performing on TV, Radio, Mall, Provincial, Universities, and all musical events and shows.
With all the blessings they’ve been getting so far, studies is still their number one priority and they intend to keep their feet firmly planted on the ground. They were all literally young but matured enough to Understand the value priorities and hard work to make them a better persons in the future. Their ultimate goal besides being the number one rock group in the country is to ignite the fire of young musicians everywhere. They have made the first spark, and Square One is ready to fan the flames and spread their music like wildfire. And man, these talented kids can definitely do it.
Square One also became the latest band endorser for MACBETH PHILIPPINES. They were also the youngest endorser of RJ Guitars Philippines for the past 2 years. They were the previous endorser of Garfield Apparels and World Balance.

At their young and tender age, we can consider Square One to be a veteran of gigs and performance because they probably have done more shows better than other bands older than them. They have been featured and guested numerous times in all TV, Radio, Malls, Prints, Universities, which included touring much of the Metro and nearby provinces and playing at high profile festivals. They had also done back to back shows with the likes of Siakol, Color it Red, The Dawn, Hale, and Silent Sanctuary just to name a few.
