The Artists
Bing Austria
A singer and musician who is currently performing with three bands, namely Flippin’ Soul Stompers, Juan Pablo Dream, and Todo Pasa. Bing also DJs around Metro Manila and plays swinging music from the ‘60s-‘70s and Northern soul, among other tunes.
We can’t wait to listen to his funky and soulful interpretation of Hotdog’s “Annie Batungbakal,” which he performs with Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas at the nostalgic Paco Park, directed by Juno Oebanda and RA Rivera. We bet the song will get us dancing on our feet, wherever we may be!
“Mga problema niya’y kanyang nalilimutan
Pag siya’y yumuyugyog, sumasayaw”
Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas
A 12-piece big band that offers a new kind of Manila Sound with their eclectic mix of different music genres.
Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas band leader, composer, and bassist Francis De Veyra is the Musical Director of “Hinahanap-hanap Kita, Manila”.
Listen to their rendition of Hotdog’s greatest hits as Directors Juno Oebanda and RA Rivera take us on a virtual stroll in the incredibly beautiful Paco Park, one of Manila’s important heritage sites.
Bea Lorenzo
A singer and songwriter who explores new and stylistic approaches to R&B/Soul. On December 13 we get to listen to her ethereal voice as she performs Hotdog’s “Langit Na Naman.” Set in the hauntingly beautiful Walled City of Intramuros, Bea and director Jason Tan will make you fall in love with this romantic and historic place all over again.
Raymund Marasigan and Yeng Constantino
You read that right! We got pop rock superstar and songwriter Yeng Constantino together with rock icon Raymund Marasigan — one of the most respected musicians in the industry and member of several bands such as Sandwich, Pedicab, Squid9, Cambio, Assembly Generals, and of course, the Eraserheads — to sing the playful and catchy “Beh, Buti Nga!”
The unexpected duo performs Hotdog hit at the Museo Pambata interactive museum, which is designed to excite and inspire a new generation. With filmmaker/producer/musician Quark Henares directing the video, this will no doubt be a fun and exciting treat to watch.
Nicole Laurel Asensio
An award-winning singer and songwriter who comes from a family of performers. She is dubbed as the “Schizoprano” because of her versatile vocals that can span classical, jazz, and rock.
For Nicole’s dreamy performance of “Panaginip” by Hotdog, no other location is more fitting than the picturesque Jones Bridge. Once called the Queen of Bridges, Jones Bridge was commissioned in 1919, rebuilt after its destruction in World War II, and recently restored to its former glory by the City of Manila. Fall into a reverie as director Alco Guerrero presents this symbolic bridge and iconic song in a different light — a vision of Manila’s timeless beauty.
Ebe Dancel and Blaster Silonga
Two brilliant musicians collide in a stellar performance of Hotdog’s “Ikaw Ang Miss Universe ng Buhay Ko”:
Singer-songwriter-guitarist Blaster Silonga is a member of the band IV of Spades, which became an indie rock phenomenon when they debuted in 2018.
Multi-awarded OPM icon Ebe Dancel does not merely write songs; he creates anthems that pierce us to the core.
Together, they croon to their Muse under the 16-meter dome of the National Planetarium, as directors Juno Oebanda and RA Rivera take us on an out-of-this-world journey.
Rubber Inc.
Malek Lopez and Noel De Brackinghe of Rubber Inc. are the pioneers of live electronic dance music in the Philippines. They have been performing in both local and international events since 1998, and have had successful collaborations with Ballet Philippines, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, and Berlin-based DJs Andi and Hannes Teichmann.
The DJ duo puts their own production touches on the hits of Hotdog, adding contemporary flavor to the iconic Manila Sound. Make sure you are tuned in on December 13 at 8pm when we drop the beat!
Team Vibe
A professional dance company established in 2007, is one of the many Filipino performers that have brought pride to our Country. They have traveled to 16 countries and have brought home 26 international awards so far.
Get down with The Vibe as they groove to Hotdog’s greatest disco hit, “Bongga Ka Day!” Together with directors Alco Guerrero, Juno Oebanda and RA Rivera and the Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas band, they will turn the Manila City Hall vicinity into one big street party — and a revolutionary display of Pinoy artistry.
Gary Valenciano and Armi Millare
Two Filipino artists who have conquered the international scene take you back home to Hotdog’s “Manila.”
Armi Millare is the singer, songwriter, and keyboardist from electronic-rock band UDD. Since 2006, she has released four albums with UDD and toured extensively across Asia, Canada and the US. Armi has also performed in the UK and in Berlin, and worked with Norwegian group D’sound and Japanese group Ovall.
And what Filipino doesn’t know Gary Valenciano? For the past 37 years, the multi-awarded singer-songwriter, music producer/arranger, movie actor, television host, and philanthropist has enthralled worldwide audiences with his breathtaking sold out performances and groundbreaking music. From heartfelt ballads and upbeat tracks, Unicef’s National Ambassador Gary V has inspired millions of music fans and relentlessly conquered the Philippine entertainment scene decade after decade.
Armi’s smooth and silky vocals and the passion and verve of Gary’s meet at the center of the country’s economic, political, social, and cultural activity; a city both romantic and energetic, that will move you and make you groove at the same time. With the artistry of directors Paolo Valenciano with RA Rivera and Juno Oebanda, you will see Rizal Park Luneta with fresh eyes — and realize that there is simply no place like Manila, and simply no celebration like the Manila Heritage Concert.

The live events industry — identified as “non-essential” — has been one of the hardest-hit sectors by the pandemic, being one of the first to shut down and one of the last to reopen. In the midst of this, a diverse band of six directors got together with a mission: to keep the show going in the new reality.
Their mission led them to the beautiful City of Manila, accompanied by seasoned production specialists and high caliber performers, and armed with the timeless music of Hotdog – the creators of Manila Sound.
In “Hinahanap-hanap Kita, Manila,” the directors bridge history with modernity, merge different music genres, and present familiar locations like you’ve never seen them before. When you tune in on December 13 at 8PM, keep in mind that this is not an ordinary online concert. This is a renaissance of the events industry, of tourism, and of Philippine entertainment – which, ask any Filipino, is an essential source of joy, with or without the pandemic.
