CALL FOR ARTISTS
The Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage (BACH) Council – Visual Arts Committee seeks entries for our annual juried exhibition of the best artworks by Bol-anon visual artists. The exhibit is tentatively set on July 5-30, 2021.
1. Open to all Bol-anon artists submitting original works of art created within the past 2 years and must not have been featured in previous exhibits or competitions, including online art shows.
2. This is an OPEN THEME call. We are expecting the highest quality works by Bol-anon artists.
3. The size of the artwork should be 3×4 ft, either portrait or landscape. All fine art media will be considered. Sculptures of no more than 2x2x2 ft. (or the equivalent of 8 cu. ft.) are also welcome.
4. Email photos of your studies (in full color for colored artworks) and/or finished artworks along with the art details/notes, short artist bio and contact info by May 17, 2021 to bachvisualarts@gmail.com.
All artwork submissions must be photographed against a neutral background. For paintings and other two-dimensional works, submissions must include high quality photographs: (a) at a full front view, (b) at an angle of 45° from the surface: one full and one about 24 inches away from the edge of the work. For sculptures, submit photos from all angles that will best showcase your work.
5. Screening of artworks will be done by a jury panel. Selected works will be announced a week after the submission deadline.
6. Other exhibit details will be further announced to all accepted artists.
