Altro Mondo Art Contemporanea is proud to present ROMANCING THE WATER II, a group exhibition featuring the works of ALFRED GALURA, GERARDO JIMENEZ, and RENE CANLAS at the Altro Mondo Creative Space.
Three esteemed watercolor artists––Alfred Galura, Gerardo Jimenez, and Rene Canlas––come together for Romancing the Water: Episode II, an exhibit that pays full respect to the illustrious medium of watercolor painting.
Initially conceived during the L’Arc En Ciel group show in 2019 curated by Elaine O. Herbosa, the artists endeavored to produce a show that would convey their passion and love of this area of artistic expression. Thus the first edition of the exhibit came to life, despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic in August 2020.
Once again, the three artists reunite for the second phase of the show to showcase their latest works, calling to the audience to witness and experience the ways in which they’ve broadened their horizons and tamed that most difficult medium to master––watercolor.
