Irugi Coffee hosts brunch Gig Fundraiser for Beloved Dog in La Union
San Juan, La Union — Cups & Chords, a cozy morning of acoustic sets, coffee, poetry, and community care, will be brewing this Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Irugi Coffee. This all-women jam marks the closing event of For Ulap, With Love—a pop-up exhibition fundraiser rallying support for Ulap, a Siberian husky living in La Union suffering from Ehrlichia with a very low platelet count.
A joint effort among BAD KOMIKS, Irugi, Soffia, and Lifeboat Creative Studios, Cups & Chords invites you to a warm, unplugged space where mutual aid meets music and poetry. Expect stripped-down sets, zines, art, pet-friendly vibes, and genuine community connection.
“This gathering is a heartfelt reminder that healing is a shared effort. And that art, music, and coffee can hold space for collective care. Very thankful for everyone showing support. All proceeds and efforts support Ulap’s recovery journey,” Sophie Blanco, Ulap’s mom & co-founder of Lifeboat, shared.

Artist’s Profiles
Born and raised in Baguio City, Erin Galadriel writes songs about Life, hope, and heartache. Her debut EP The Laundry Room offers raw, intimate stories of the human experience, aiming to connect through heartfelt storytelling.
Robynn is an independent country-folk singer-songwriter from the Philippine countryside, where sunrise views and family music traditions inspire her work. Her 2017 debut single Country Girl. Led to features on Manila Bulletin, Wish 107.5, and the BGC Filipino Playlist Festival.
