For the month of hearts, the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of guest conductor Gerard Salonga serenades the audience with Lucio San Pedro’s Ang Buwan sa Kabundukan, Franz Schubert’s Erlkönig, Manuel De Falla’s Siete Canciones Populares Españolas, and Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony no. 6, op. 74, B minor (“Pathetique”). For this Series Concert VI of the PPO, world-class soprano Andion Fernandez returns to the CCP as the soloist for the evening and performs a selection of art songs. Enjoy an enchanted evening filled with harmony, love, and passion as the PPO serenades you with classical music treasures this February 14, 8:00pm at the CCP Main Theater.
