In this particular chapter of her creative universe, Angelica So introduces us to a new character: Theotokos. She represents the gumamela (or hibiscus), a reminder of the fleeting quality of life where each moment of the present matters dearly, before its short bloom ends (a very human thing). The name itself is also said to prove the connection between the human and the divine, the Passage to the kingdom as given birth by Mother Mary.
These passages, like every choice in your own adventure, are no different from the Word. Each passage is a clue, a reminder, a voice from the end of the tunnel. Dominus regit me, et nihil mihi deerit.
The passages are many, they twist, turn, and go over and under. Sometimes they go back and around, or seem like an endless loop, but one thing is always true: at the end of your chosen passage, where the now ends and the future begins, is The Hidden Gate.
