Katreen Dela Cruz is an actor, production and stage manager, and director for theater and events.
She attended masterclasses under Ana Valdes-Lim, Noa Rotem, Raffy Tejada, Diana Malahay-Aguila, and Dodos Dela Cruz, and was trained under Riki Benedicto and Meila Romero during her time as an artist scholar with Dulaang Filipino at the De La Salle – College of St. Benilde.
Her notable productions include FullHouse Theater Company’s “Bituing Walang Ningning” at Resorts World Manila, Tanghalang Pilipino’s “Mabining Mandirigma” at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, and 9Works Theatricals and Sandbox Collective’s “Himala” at Power Mac Center, Spotlight Theater.
Katreen directed her first major production entitled “La Estrella: A Night of Music and Flamenco” last 2017 and received the Best Director award from Short+Sweet Manila 2015 after doing several one-act plays. She was also featured in Virgin Labfest 2020 Playwrights Fair – Online Collaboration for a Theatrical Rework for the production, “Lumang Tugtugin”.
Aside from doing theater, she holds a regular position at her full-time work servicing international trade fairs and local events where she led projects with government agencies Department of Trade and Industry – Philippines and U.S. Department of Agriculture – Foreign Agricultural Service.
