While most of their contemporaries were making modern compositions, Ricard Strauss and Sergei Rachmaninov were producing pieces in the romantic style, making them some of the first retro or throwback artists of their time.
With Professor Arturo Molina conducting and Austria-based Filipino pianist Aries Caces as guest soloist, the Manila Symphony Orchestra makes their work come alive.
