by Bon Labora

jpegThe film 20 ans d’écart (It Boy) was about a thirty-eight year-old ambitious and workaholic editor of the fashion magazine Rebelle Alice Lantins who had a relationship with a student of architecture Balthazar Apfel. It was a great film to start the festival which give a perfect introduction the the other films.

Also shown after the film was the video footage of the signing of the film cooperation agreement between the FDCP and the Centre National du Cinéma in Cannes, France last May 19, 2004.

H.E Gilles Garachon, Ambassador of France to the Philippines welcomed the audience and distinguished guest.

Hon. Briccio Santos, Chairman, Film Development Council of the Philippines gave detailed plans about the cooperation agreement with Centre National du Cinéma.

The inaugural toast and cocktail reception was held at The Gallery, 2/F Greenbelt 5.
