June 10 – June 11
Mampueng Tribal Village
We, the Unfuck The World Movement Philippines and Raggapo of Olongapo/Subic Bay, would like to invite you to be part of our 5th Annual Celebration of UTWday on June 10, 2017.
Since 2013, UTWday has been an annual celebration spanning different groups and communities around the world. Maike Both, founder of Unfuck The World, based in Los Angeles, California, started a community-based t-shirt project that creates ripples around the world and generates positive change to people’s live and their immediate communities.
UTW Philippines has been involved in environmental clean-ups, tree planting, medical mission, feeding programs and outreach missions in and around Zambales – to the far-flung communities of our Aeta brethren.
We need a new breed of young leaders that would be a vital force heralding our shared tomorrow, focusing on: environmental and cultural development, education, finding solutions to plastic waste and garbage management, self-sustainable living, and, to encourage others to be part of the movement and celebrate life!
For the event, we will also have guest speakers discuss issues regarding: Environmental Awareness Campaign; Self Sustainable Living (Agriculture and Permaculture); and others.
Musicians and performers will also smash the stage coming from Olongapo, Zambales, Pampanga, Manila, Baguio, Las Pinas, and neighbouring provinces, performing artist group –
SAWAKAS THEATRE GROUP, and other visual artists. Different kinds of ARTS will be exhibited during the event, some are for display purposes and others for sale.
The main benefactors of the UTWday 2017 event will be the Aeta children and select communities in Olongapo City/Zambales in teaching them basic education, highlight the importance of preserving their own culture and to protect our environment; as our co-guardians here on Earth.
We will also be launching ‘ECO-GUARDIANS’, to create a NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION, a private-independent group collaborated by supporters, sponsors and donors. We will train young people to be the next leaders and ECO-Guardian.
