Huntahan 1: Producing an Arts Festival

Learn the ins and outs of festival production from various international and local producers. From dealing with government censorship to creating a festival lineup with more than a hundred artists. This talk aims to give people an insight on what goes on behind the scenes from a production perspective. Panelists include Jonathan Pitts of the Chicago Improv Festival, Kim Tan of the Singapore Improv Festival, Curt Mabry of the Shanghai Improv Festival, and Gabe Mercado of the Manila Improv Festival with the special participation of Junjun Sabalburro.

Workshop 1: Playing With Drama, Mexican Novella

Focused on analyzing and discovering the elements of the Mexican ​Novella​. This workshop allows participants to play with different character archetypes, story tropes, magic realism, and the celebrated crazy and irrational plot lines. Learn to create and play long form scenes based on the structure of a fun (and naturally overly dramatic) Mexican novella.
