1. the fact of two things being seen or placed close together with contrasting effect.
The act of juxtaposing is innately one of reflection. To hold up an object, idea, or perhaps even a person beside another- to show stark contrast. The act brings into sharp relief what makes things different, and also what makes them the same. As such, we love juxtaposition because at its best, it spurs improvement- and therefore, growth.
Tubô Cebu Art Fair kicks off our fifth year celebration by bringing to the forefront the many juxtapositions around us. May they light the way forward!
When we said we were beside ourselves with excitement, we meant it! Here’s to sparks of inspiration kicked off by our 2023 key word. We can’t wait to see everyone side by side.
