One of the toughest pills to swallow is you can’t please everyone. While many will adore you, others will be your haters and detractors trying to pull you down. Some would also be indifferent and will just pass you by. But for one Gen Z artist, he was able to create beauty from all hurtful words hurled at him.
Symbolist artist Ron Mariñas didn’t let the insults and allegations pull him down. Instead, he embraced all of them and used them to take him to greater heights. In his solo show, Ron Mariñas bares his identity through his art and reminds us that we should just be ourselves unapologetically.
