Despite his modest palette and nondescript subjects, artist Lyndon Maglalang’s fluency in expressing the human psyche and emotion are revealed in a vicarious narrative of “happy accidents” and sentimental incorporations. In his upcoming solo exhibition, “Behold”, Lyndon takes us into the environment of his contemplative nature.⁣

Lyndon Maglalang is a Manila-based visual artist whose manually wound wires, acrylics, and various mixed media represent pivotal episodes in his artistic journey. A graduate of Fine Arts Major in Advertising at the University of Rizal, Maglalang utilizes paint scraped off of old palettes to build images, a process reminiscent to collage making. Growing to be a collector’s favorite, Lyndon Maglalang’s paintings have grazed various group shows in Manila, including those displayed in Art Fair Philippines and Cultural Center of the Philippines. He is a member of the KUTA Artist Group.

See you all at the artist reception on February 29, at 6 pm! “Behold” is up for view until March 15, 2020.
