GENERAL GUIDELINES
I. REGISTRATION
• To register, fill out the registration form and the entry form. Together with these two forms, upload a copy of your valid ID (Government/ Student). You can find these forms at bit.ly/ssff-entry-form.
• An email with your Entry Control Number (ECN) i.e 7THSSFF-22-0000 shall be sent to you as proof that your entry has been received and validated.
II. FILM REQUIREMENT
• The required film length is a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 20 minutes including credits.
• A film that portrays the meaning of the theme. SINGLEHOOD: A Parent. A Child. A Journey. It must be in narrative or semi-narrative form.
• The film must premiere first at the Sorok Short Film Festival.
• A film in Filipino or in any language will be accepted, but it must have English subtitles.
• The film must be submitted in MP4 or AVI format.
• The film must pass general patronage rating, as SSFF intends to impart learning and wisdom to its audience, regardless of their age. Scenes not suitable to young viewers must be shown creatively and subtly.
• One film per production team will be accepted.
• The production team must adhere to the guidelines provided by the IATF. A safety disclaimer must be declared at the beginning of the film.
III. SUBMITTING FILM ENTRY
• Upload your Film on Google Drive along with the film poster, trailer and synopsis in one folder named SSFF2022_FILM TITLE Assigned ECN_FILM TITLE and share it to sorok.ssff@gmail.com on or before November 15, 2022.
• Once uploaded, fill out the Film Submission Report (FSR) thru this link: bit.ly/ssff-film-submission.
• SSFF committee will send a confirmation reply to the registered email and/or mobile number, that the FSR and the film has been received and validated.
• Ensure all requirements (1.Entry Form, 2. Copy of Valid ID, 3. Film Submission Report, 4. Film uploaded in Google Drive) have been submitted.
• Deadline of Registration and Film Submission will be on November 15, 2022 at 11:59 PM.
