This Friday, RESBAK celebrates its fifth zine launch and fundraiser for our creative campaigns and families affected by the current drug war.

They say artworks serve as a mirror to society. After thousands of deaths on the streets and a government that serves its people with a breakfast of hate and disrespect for human rights, we as artists and activists turn to art and words for refuge.

Join us this April 5th in Cubao Expo for an exhilarating night with Dicta License, Hernandez Brothers, BLKD, Calix, Sandata, Sa Digma Ng Halimaw, Isang Dokyu Teatro, Cosmic Love, Gerilya and Watak, as we take you on a series of riveting performances that will dare to question your role in shaping the narrative of the country. With a variety of acts from grunge rock to documentary theatre, take a deep dive into the full spectrum of progressive musicians and artists.

This issue, our existing relationship with the motherland demands an answer the questions: Why are we here? Quo Vadis Filipinas?

Featuring the works of Kimberly Dela Cruz, Andrei Venal, Antares Gomez Bartolome, Christine Marie Magpile, Aris Remollino, Raffy Lerma, Herbert Docena, Kiri Dalena, Mideo M. Cruz, Joel Pablo Salud and many more!

Partners with Hudyat: Filipino Artists for Human Dignity, Let’s Organize for Democracy and Integrity (LODI), DAKILA, Tudla Productions, Active Vista, Legal Rights and Natural Resources Center, Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), Child Rights Network (CRN) Philippines and Rise Up for Life and for Rights.
