The Brigadier-General Francisco H. Licuanan, Jr. Collection is the digital output of the surviving records of Filipino soldiers and guerillas during World War II. These records were retrieved from the Philippine Collection of the US National Archives and Records Administration in Maryland, USA. The dissemination, orientation, and demonstration of the collection will be conducted by Ms. Marie Vallejo and the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO).

Launched by the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office and the Filipino War Veterans Foundation Inc. last April 25, the digital collection contains memoirs of freedom fighters, officers, soldiers and civilians. The digitization project was led by Ms. Marie Vallejo who discovered the Philippine Collection at the US National Archives and Records Administration during her research in the US. The collection was named after the father of Mr. Francisco H. Licuanan III who sponsored the project in honor of his late father who was a USAFFE officer.
