Tuesday, November 10 UP Chinese Student Association Tepai Pascual is the Creative Director of Meganon Comics Publishing House. She is a nominee for the 2015 National Book Awards for her graphic novel, "Maktan1521," which is also her thesis at the UP Fine Arts. Tepai also co-organizes the Filipino Komiks Market (Komiket) and her other books are, "Alamat Ng Matibay," "Mark 9Verse47", "Noodle Boy" and "Buhay Habangbuhay". Paolo Herras is the Managing Director of Meganon Comics Publishing House and the Filipino Komiks Market (Komiket). He is the author of "Alamat Ng Matibay," "Noodle Boy," "Strange Natives," "Sumpa" and "Buhay Habangbuhay," which he is currently directing the film adaptation as part of the 2nd CineFilipino Film Festival in 2016. After over five years of exhibiting at national komiks events, MEGANON COMICS took a leap of faith and bridged their indie comics to more readers. MC exhibited at several literary and arts events, such as the Manila International Book Fair, the Sikat Pinoy National Art Fair, and the Fringe Manila World Art Festival. To help grow the comics community, MC co-created the Filipino Komiks Market (Komiket), and nurtured new creators through the Comic Book Creator's Workshop.
