Robinson’s Galleria, Ortigas Center–Vice Versa group formally opens their exhibit entitled Figment Beyond Pigment on June 16th, at Artablado of Robinson’s Galleria Mall in Ortigas, Quezon City.
Vicson Apostol, Gab Villalobos, MJ Palma, Carlos Alferez Castro, Dhennis Sigua, William Abao, Jonathan Jalac, Medardo Olaco, Bernard Oronos Jr., Anthony Esqueta, Ada Panopio, Tannie Edad, Cheyzer Manalo, Alexandra Marie Monserrat, Vince Martin Macatangay, Anna Lumpas, Edward De Castro, and Joseph Albao joined the said exhibit.
With a wide variety of subjects and styles, Figment Beyond Pigment encapsulates the ingenuity and deep creativity of the participating artists. Each work tends to represent the worldview of the creator, and even the aesthetic process that the artist employed in creating the piece.
Beyond imagination, the images on display pay homage to the experiences and understanding of the artist as human beings existing in a specific social and cultural milieu. As beings of creativity, the artists have been able to translate into visual the things they have felt, thought of, and wished to come into being.
The exhibit runs until June 30th. Artablado is located on the 3rd level of Robinson’s Galleria.
