Joel Donato Ching Jacob goes by the name Cupkeyk, is a member of LIRA and was a fellow at the 2014 UST National Summer Writers’ Workshop. He studied Comparative Literature in Diliman and teaches Gradeschool English in Los Baños

Kooky Tuason – Produced 4 spoken word albums (Romancing Venus Volumes 1 & 2, Bigkas Pilipinas and In Transit: Manila Meets Toronto). She is a performance poet, educator and radio host. She hosted a radio program on JAM 88.3. Nominated at the KBP Golden Awards and Catholic Mass Media Awards, she continues to make waves on-air online. Kooky recently released a coffee table book called Picket Lines (Dialogues Between Eves, Among Eves and For Eves). with Marty Tengco, percussionist for spoken word band ILAYA, freelance events & TV host

Manu Respall – an ONEIRONAUT (explorer of realms), a born artist, a poet/writer, a fashion designer, owner of DOGGFICHER concepts

Trish Shishikura was a fellow for poetry in the 52nd Silliman University National Writers Workshop. Her work has appeared in the Philippines Free Press, Philippine Graphic Magazine, The Silliman Journal, Softblow, and Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, among others.

Charms Tianzon presently teaches literature in an international school. She writes poetry and music for professional and personal reasons. She is also the frontwoman of the band Matilda.

J. Luna / John Robert Luna is from Quezon City, he works as a copywriter in Ortigas. His poems have appeared in The Phil. Free Press, The Philippines Graphic and as messages sent through email to his crush.

Joel M. Toledo holds a Masters degree in English Studies (Poetry) from the University of the Philippines Diliman, where he likewise finished two undergraduate degrees (Journalism and Creative Writing). He has authored three books of poetry – Chiaroscuro (UST Press, 2008), The Long Lost Startle (UP Press, 2009), and Ruins and Reconstructions (Anvil Publishing, 2011). Chiaroscuro was a finalist for the 2008 National Book Awards. Toledo was the recipient of the 2006 NCCA Literary Prize, and has won several literary awards for his poetry in English, including two Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards, The Philippines Free Press Literary Award, The Meritage Press Poetry Prize in San Francisco, USA, and the Bridport Prize for Poetry in Dorset, United Kingdom. He was a recipient of the Rockefeller Foundation Creative Arts Residency at the Bellagio Center in Italy in March 2011 and was the Philippine representative for the 2011 International Writers Program (IWP) at the University of Iowa, USA. Toledo is the current Literary Editor of the Philippines Free Press. He teaches Literature at Miriam College.

Franciel Breis is from University of the Philippines Open University, a call center agent, and at the same time, a LIRA 2014 fellow.

Winna A. Altamira believes that music, dining together over good food, and sports will one day end all conflicts.

Xiao Santiago is a singer-songwriter from Quezon City. her first single, “Sana”, can be heard on 95.5 Pinas FM and her recently released music video is already out on Youtube. As a former high school social science teacher, she believes that sonwriting is a great tool in delivering a strong message or emotion. She also uses this to make studying more fun and productive.
