Palm Grass The Cebu Heritage Hotel and Cebu heritage group, Hambin, invite the public to discover the precolonial Cebuano love and courtship in “GUGMATIK” on February 14, 2020 3:00PM-6:00PM at Hawanan Tres de Abril.
The FREE ADMISSION event presents a talk about Precolonial Cebuano Love and Courtship by our guest speaker, former Cebu Provincial Tourism Officer Mr. Boboi Costas.
Palm Grass will also release a heartbreaking song’s music video, “Nganong Siya Man” this Valentine’s Day about a visual artist torn between romantic love and art.
The song was originally written, inspired by the Katipunero torn between love of country and a girl. A Katipunero couldn’t have physical relations with a woman, else, his amulet loses its power.
“Nganong Siya Man” is interpreted by Tawag ng Tanghalan’s Gerlyn Ville Sanchez Abaño and Phylum’s Ian Raye Austria Biñan.
The music video is created by Social Communications Asia content creator, Pros Laput.
