As a cultural bridge between The Philippines and Japan, a music and art festival “Ichiban Festival” was established and has been held 4 times in manila since 2012 by “Hiragana” crew together with Black Market and B-SIDE Production.
Hiragana crew has brought some finest DJs and paint,visual artists straight from Japan and some other Asian countries for Ichiban Festival.
The last 4th Ichiban Festival at Black Market in 2013 had a one of the most respected DJ in the world “DJ Krush” and also the crew brought famous japanese paint artists duo “Doppel” to do a live painting show in the festival.
As a side project of Ichiban Festival, Doppel also made a new landmark of BGC, huge graphity art of “Andres Bonifacio” in Highstreet, BGC.
The crew continue to hold this event and this coming Nov.29(SAT), they will have 5th Ichiban Festival at Black Market.
The headliner for the night will be “KREEK(DJ Yasa and DJ Hi-C)” from Japan who got 5 times DMC Championship Team World Champion, together with RSD(UK), DJ JASE(Vietnam) and Manila’s finest DJs RED-I and Soul Flower.
And there will be live painting show of MON(Doppel,Japan) and visual arts of Cosmic Lab which is a one of most popular visual art crew in Japan.
Ichiban Festival provides the experience of Japanese music and art culture for building better friendship between The Philippines and Japan.
