Opening on October 15, Saturday is HITHERTO VI: “Notes on Impermanence” at Project Space Pilipinas, Lucban, featuring works by Len-Len, Zoraya Lua, Che Jinsuk, Maya Muñoz, Marita Ganse, Christina Lopez, Wawi Navarroza, Carol Anne McChrystal, and Patricia Perez Eustaquio.
The Hitherto Series explores the phenomena and relations of actions and forces that drive motion and change. It looks into the unfolding of events, interactions, and confrontations of ideas that have real and material manifestations in our lives. This dialectical lens is contextualized in concepts of power, cognition, identity, territory, freedoms, values and principles, and the different articulations of capital that make up the social and spatial fabric of contemporary Philippines.
