We want to share the extraordinary stories of ordinary people and bring them to every school, mall, bus station and, ultimately, to every Filipino all over the world. Our aim is to inspire and empower Filipinos, especially in today's atmosphere of fear and negativity. More to this, we'd also like to encourage people that they, too, can be a source of hope for others. Istorya ng Pag-Asa is a traveling photo gallery featuring different stories of hope by the Filipino people. Through words and portraits, this project aims to inspire, empower and be a source of hope for all. Istorya ng Pag-asa was originally a photoblog -- an offshoot of Araw ng Pagbasa, Araw ng Pag-asa, an annual reading advocacy program that began in 2008 in the Third District of Quezon City. Today, Istorya ng Pag-asa continues to grow with stories of hope sourced from local communities, with the help of different socio-civic groups and local government units. Istorya ng Pag-asa continues to expand its reach to all corners of the country, with the support of partners and stakeholders from Quezon City, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Naga, Baguio and Dumaguete. ISTORYA NG PAG-ASA SOC MED LAUNCH

Istorya ng Pag-asa was born out of the need to change the national
conversation.

We want to share the extraordinary stories of ordinary people and bring them to every school, mall, bus station and, ultimately, to every Filipino all over the world. Our aim is to inspire and empower Filipinos, especially in today’s atmosphere of fear and negativity. More to this, we’d also like to encourage people that they, too, can be a source of hope for others.

Istorya ng Pag-Asa is a traveling photo gallery featuring different stories of hope by the Filipino people. Through words and portraits, this project aims to inspire, empower and be a source of hope for all. Istorya ng Pag-asa wasoriginally a photoblog — an offshoot of Araw ng Pagbasa, Araw ng Pag-asa, an annual
reading advocacy program that began in 2008 in the Third District of Quezon City.
